On Friday, 18th October 2024, Kontiki Finance Limited brought smiles, hope, and opportunity to the students at Beacon Media Learning Centre in Nakasi by donating 5 laptops. This gesture holds profound significance as Beacon Media Learning Centre is Fiji’s first registered inclusive school, tailored to also include children with special needs.
With much of the school’s curriculum available online through its Australian-based program, these laptops will play a vital role in transforming the learning experience. Now, students can engage in personalized, one-on-one online sessions, ensuring they stay connected, focused, and continue to thrive in their education.
During the handover, the school’s head teacher, Mrs. Fane Saumaibulu, along with a few of the students, graciously accepted the donation from Mr. Jope Kikau, representing Kontiki Finance Limited.
